Amy's Handmade Ice Cream

Amy is 23 and has lived in Betty’s Bay for the past 4 years. She also happens to have Down Syndrome. Before she moved to the Cape, she lived in Limpopo and had a thriving cookie business. When she got to Betty’s Bay, she realised that there were already a lot of people making cookies, so she decided to branch out and make ice cream instead. 

She hand-makes small batches of delicious ice cream, sorbet and frozen yoghurt, using only the freshest ingredients.

Her fruit flavours change according to seasonal availability – so there is always a new flavour to try.
